Job description: DESCRIPTIONAWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.As the Healthcare Account Manager for British Columbia, you will have the exciting opportunity to help customers in their digital transformation journey and achieve their mission objectives using the AWS cloud. Your responsibilities will include identifying great ways to improve outcomes for customers, driving revenue & adoption, and helping refine the Amazon Web Services (AWS) strategy within the healthcare vertical market segment, and building momentum with our largest healthcare accounts. This role will own, define, develop and execute a business plan and consistently deliver on revenue targets while thinking strategically about long term customer outcomes.Within AWS Public Sector, the Healthcare team is a rapidly growing business that is obsessed about serving our healthcare customers. Our team is dedicated to supporting new members. We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we’re building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship. We are seeking an experienced and driven Healthcare Account Executive to lead and continue to expand our healthcare business. The Healthcare Account Executive has demonstrated success in overachieving quota while relentlessly focusing on their customers. This person is self-starter, who exercises business leadership, creative thinking, and strong trust-based relationship approach to sales.Key job responsibilities
– Identify key opportunities within defined healthcare customers that allow them to get more value from the AWS cloud solutions.
– Driving revenue and market share in a defined territory of healthcare customers
– Meeting or exceeding quarterly revenue targets
– Developing and executing against a comprehensive account/territory plan strategy
– Creating, articulating, and executing on compelling value propositions for AWS services
– Building and maintaining broad strategic relationships in customer organizations
– Working with technology, consulting, and strategic partners to extend reach and drive adoption
– Managing contract negotiations
– Excelling in ensuring customer satisfactionA successful candidate possesses the ability to think critically, be self-motivated, and be able to lead in the midst of ambiguity and change. They should bring a technical background, be detail oriented, have excellent problem-solving abilities, and be an exemplary communicator. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
