To maximize its growth potential, we are seeking high-energy individuals to assist in all areas of the business.Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish togetherWe are seeking an Account Manager to manage accounts North Central AB.The ideal candidate will be a high-energy team player with great communication skills, be a proven closer, and maintain excellent Salesforce and Google Suite Products. The Account Manager will be responsible for the management of a territory, including the growth of existing accounts, the nurturing and management of opportunities within these accounts through the defined phases of the sales process, and maintenance of a high rate of closure. The Account Manager will be assisted by the customer success management team.Responsibilities
- Sell and differentiate Optimize RX and related products, crop marketing, IoT and Sure Check to new and existing customers, expanding Decisive Farming’s existing territory throughout Western Canada
- Participate in overall sales planning
- Create territory business plan annually and reviewed monthly
- Execution of the corporate sales plan with the Sales Manager
- Regular participation at trade-shows as required and seen beneficial to business growth
- Develop and execute promotional territory budget with the goal of creating a positive Decisive Farming image
- Seek and participate in community and customer events that would be beneficial to the overall territory business plan
- Responsible for accurately completing a grower checklist for ALL agronomy growers
- Daily usage of Salesforce CRM
- Provide basic front-line technical assistance for customers (loading files, navigating proprietary software, etc.)
- Help nurture and develop Retail partner accounts, driving growth through assigned and new
- growers
QualificationsYou’re the missing piece of the puzzleKnowledge and Skills
- Knowledge/experience with Microsoft CRM, Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook, experience with LinkedIn
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- An effective listener
- Ability to reach out to target accounts to generate interest and opportunity
- Ability to speak at the farm level with confidence
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously – excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Degrees, Certificates and Experience
- Background in the farming industry.
- Strong understanding of Financial processes, accounting, billing, revenue recognition
- Experience coordinating sales resources through close process
- Excellence and professionalism in all communications with clients and prospects
- Direct sales experience
- Experience as a proven closer in a farm environment
- Sales Training a plus
- CCA/P.Ag is a benefit
