• Manage and oversee full cycle accounting
• Calculate and manage pricing for materials, labor, and project timelines.
• Journal entries
• Financial reporting
• Manage cash flow
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting
• Payroll processing (hourly and salaried staff of under 30)
• Benefits administration
• Maintain and improve existing spreadsheets, with a focus on transitioning from manual processes to more advanced systems
• Support the transition to a new software platform

Experience & Attributes for Success:

• Post-secondary education in accounting or related field
• 5 years+ progressive, full cycle accounting experience
• Strong background in accounting within the utility services industry, with the ability to manage both large-scale projects and smaller tasks
• High level proficiency with QuickBooks Online and MS Excel
• Ability to adapt and thrive in an entrepreneurial or start-up environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Uphold a high level of integrity and ethical standards
• Driven, adaptable, and highly motivated to take on increasing responsibilities and grow into a management role.
