Job description: About Our ClientOur client in North York, a leader in the Engineering sector, is currently seeking an Accountant to join their team on a permanent basisResponsibilities

• Manage all areas of Time & Materials including but not limited to:

• Monthly project billings
• Processing time sheets
• Tracking invoices, safety attendance records, etc.
• Ensure all administrative areas of the project are being adhered to
• Produce and discuss progress reports with Accounting team and Controller
• Other ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Accounting/Finance
• Minimum 3-5 years of full cycle accounting experience
• Must have experience in a project related environment (Construction, Engineering, Real Estate, Marketing, Advertising, etc.)
• Must demonstrate an understanding of Time & Consulting
• System savvy with Excel and other large accounting systems
