Responsibilities
As part of the Accounting & Finance team, you will work closely with your colleagues, Controller and Finance Manager to ensure the daily accounting activities are complete and the month end is closed successfully. Additional duties will include:
- Perform monthly closing activities
- Support management with analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting (variance, YOY, GM, cogs etc)
- Prepare and submit the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting financial packages
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure timely completion
- Prepare weekly cashflow reports
- Maintain monthly production, inventory and WIP reports
- Assist in annual SOX reporting to parent company
- Annual inventory counts and corresponding reconciliations, analysis and audit of same
- Support the audit process with supporting documentation, as required
- Assist in corporate tax preparation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of full cycle accounting and demonstrated experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Inventory accounting experience
- Exposure to Costing and COGS
- Detail oriented
- Independent, resourceful and solutions oriented
- Demonstrated experience with large ERP systems (SAP nice to have)
- Experience with excel, pivots/look ups
