Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations and compile Revenue and Work-in-Process worksheets.
- Prepare and file GST, PST, and WCB returns.
- Perform project closeouts and provide performance analysis, along with management reporting.
- Administer project materials costing and handle documentation for international shipments.
- Execute banking duties and miscellaneous journal postings as needed.
- Assist during audits and support other accounting staff as required.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Requirements * A solid understanding of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll procedures.
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ASPE.
- A diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- At least 2 years of full-cycle accounting experience.
- Knowledge of manufacturing accounting is an asset.
- Proficiency in large-scale ERP systems like Syteline (CSI) is a plus.
- Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all dealings.
