Hybrid roleResponsibilities
As a an accountant, you will be responsible for timely period-end close with a focus on Debt and general Corporate Accounting, including:
- Posting monthly accruals, reclasses and other journal entries
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations reconciling GL to source reporting, and investigating any anomalies to expectation
- Review junior team members work including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly bank recs.
- Partner with Treasury Operations team to evolve month-end working papers and processes for new transactions/evolving changes to the debt portfolio
- Partner with other Accounting teams to support other month-end entries and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with C-Sox requirements, including adhering to the journal entry and balance sheet rec policy and timelines
- Identify and analyze possible improvements to processes, and documentation of processes and procedures
Qualifications
Must haves
Accounting experience (3-4 year)
