Job description: We are seeking a Junior Accountant on behalf of our Oil & Gas client located downtown. If you have experience with full-cycle accounting and are looking to start a new permanent position to continue your career, look no further!Responsibilities include:
- Full-cycle accounting including AP and AR
- Tracking and matching invoices;
- Bank, general Ledger, inventory & invoicing reconciliations
- Assist with invoice entry
- Assist with filing month-end, year-end
- Additional responsibilities to support the senior Accountant as required
Requirements include:
- 2+ years’ experience with full-cycle accounting is preferred
- Experience with SAP, Sage 50 is preferred but not required
- High attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Outlook
- Excellent communication skills, spoken and written
- Excellent customer service orientation, likes to help others
- Strategic thinker, problem solver that learns quickly, takes initiative, works well with others and work efficiently under deadlines.
