This position contributes to the overall corporate objectives through accurate completion and recording of financial reports and all other full cycle accounting responsibilities. - Prepare weekly bank reconciliations
- Process and record Pre-Authorized Payments
- Prepare intercompany reconciliations and invoices
- Complete month end procedures and reporting requirements
- Prepare year end working papers for external financial statement audits
- Maintain polies and procedure manual relevant to accounting responsibilities
Requirements:
- CPA designation or in the final year of CPA program
- 3+ years of experience in a progressively responsible accounting role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and experience with Dynamics Great Plains is an asset
- Strong work ethic, superior attention to detail and effective time management
- Positive attitude with excellent verbal and communication skills
- Exposure within a lending environment (banking and/or leasing) is an asset
