We’re a Microbrewery and Pub located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, known for our Micro-Brewed beer and handmade sodas. Join us in our 20,000 square foot landmark building and be part of something special.Role Overview: Reporting to the Controller, the Accountant will be the go-to person for our administration team, supporting our brewery, two restaurants, and two retail operations. This role is different from most accounting positions—it’s demanding but offers significant growth potential for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:

• Support operations, accounting, and management teams in daily functions
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, reports, and schedules
• Complete monthly journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports for operations departments
• Handle banking operations, reconciliations, and recordings
• Manage GST and other monthly tax filings
• Develop additional training documents with the admin and management team
• Assist in preparing audit documents
• Provide support and training to accounting staff as needed
• Maintain proper audit track records and follow company policies & procedures
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all supporting departments
• Follow health & safety guidelines at all times
• Consider the environmental impact of all decisions
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications and Education:

• 1-2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Knowledge of the craft beer industry and a passion for beer is an asset
• AGLC and Ekos knowledge is an asset
• Proficiency with software programs such as Microsoft Office, QuickBooks Online, RM, etc.
• Degree or certification in Accounting or a related discipline is a strong asset (CPA preferred)
• Detail-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ambitious, self-starter, and hard worker
