Our private client in the building material industry is seeking an Accountant to join their team. This role will be reporting into the Accounting Manager and be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
- Conduct bank reconciliations for multiple entities, including intercompany accounts
Prepare and post accurate journal entries in a timely mannerSupport year-end audit by organizing and validating financial documentation * Assist with financial reporting and ad hoc analysis as required
- Work closely with the Accounting Manager and team to resolve discrepancies
About you:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Completion of Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Business, Finance or Accounting
- Experience with MS Excel is a strong Asset
- Must have experience working with accounting software
- Must be able to work in the office
