Job description: Job Description:Our Calgary-based client is looking for an Accountant for a contract position to support a high volume of review engagement files and assist with audit cases. This is a great opportunity for someone pursuing their CPA designation who is eager to gain hands-on experience across multiple clients and industries.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize review engagement files from start to finish
• Assist in audit cases
• Perform analytical procedures and identify key issues
• Conduct inquiries with clients and ensure financial reporting compliance
• Document work performed and maintain supporting working paper files
• Collaborate with the CPA reviewer to meet deadlines
• Communicate with clients regarding findings and file progress

Requirements:Requirements:

• 1+ year of accounting experience, ideally in public practice
• Enrolled in the CPA PEP program or working toward CPA designation
• Proficient with CaseWare; experience with CCH iFirm is an asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage and adapt to multiple client files
• Awareness of professional standards, confidentiality, and ethical requirements
• Quick learner with strong attention to detail
• Available to start immediately
