• Perform general accounting duties including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end processes
• Support accounts payable functions including invoice processing, payment preparation, and vendor communication
• Prepare and compile financial reports and summaries using Excel and data from multiple, non-integrated systems
• Assist in maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks Online and ensuring data consistency
• Collaborate with the Senior Accountant and the broader accounting team to streamline workflows
• Help support automation initiatives by adapting to evolving tools and processes
• Manage ad hoc financial data pulls and uploads, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal reporting needs
• Communicate effectively with internal departments to gather necessary financial data
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting role, ideally within a fast-paced or evolving organization
• Strong Excel skills are a must, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation
• Experience with QuickBooks Online is an asset
• Proven ability to manage data from multiple sources and work within non-integrated systems
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proactive mindset with an openness to process change and technology adoption
• Working toward CPA designation is an asset
