Job description: With more than 34 years of experience in the automotive industry, our company is looking for an Accountant to join our accounting department.Our office is located in Town of Mount Royal at the junction of Décarie (15) and Trans-Canada Highway (40) or De la Savane and Namur Metro Stations.The accountant will be responsible of:– Account payables et receivables.
– Prepare and record all required journal entries.
– Prepare bank reconciliation on monthly basis.
– Reconcile ledger accounts on a monthly basis with necessary documents.
– Prepare and file GST and QST reports.
– Filing year end information return such as (T4A, T5, etc.)Requirements:– 2 or more years of experience.
– Knowledge of accounting programs: SAGE50, Simple Accounting, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
– Demonstrate independence, adaptability, a keen sense of organization and responsibility.
– Have a good level of spoken and written English and/or French.GENERAL INFORMATION:The salary will be discussed during the job interview.
The schedule is Monday to Friday.
Compensation commensurate to experience. The finalist will be interviewed in person at the Head Office by the Controller and the HR Manager.
