Work Model: 4 days in office, 1 day at homeOur client is a mid size professional services firm – a recognized leader in their space. They are looking to hire an Accountant to work within a small team of 3 and be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• AR/AP, invoice preparation and billing
• Reconciling various disbursement billings and payments.
• Project accounting, percentage of completion reports and bank reconciliations
• Post & maintain journal entries.
• Issue monthly vendor statements and aging reports
• General office admin tasks and supportive duties as needed.
• This is a “team” environment!

Requirements:

• Accounting Diploma certification or equivalent, pursuing CPA is an asset.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in Engineering/Architectural or professional services office is highly preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Onedrive. etc.), Quickbooks or Deltek (preferred).
• Have attention to detail and be well organized.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
