This role involves performing various accounting tasks such as tax, reporting and regulatory duties in a collaborative environment. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:

• Accurate processing and recording of company’s financial transactions

• Preparation and submission of relevant tax documents

• Regular reporting on company’s financial status

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

• Effectively utilizing accounting software like JGAAP and Oracle

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting

• Assisting team members and contributing to a collaborative work environment

• Management of multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

• Adapting to new ideas and changes in work procedures

• Assisting with the transition of the company’s accounting system to cloud-based platforms

Requirements:

• Experience with financial reporting in the banking/financial services industry

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role

• Proficiency in Accounting and Accounting Entries

• Familiarity with accounting procedures and Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Expected salary: $22 – 24 per hour
