Join us today as we are currently hiring an Accountant based in Dartmouth, NS.Core Job Functions:Preparation and posting of manual and re-occurring journal entriesSupporting month-end close routinesReconciliation and maintenance of various GL accountReconciliation of bank accountsMaintenance of various financial schedules and sub-ledgersAssistance in the preparation of the monthly financial statement reporting packageProviding assistance with various inquiries from internal customersProviding ad hoc reports for managers as requestedAssisting with compliance audits/reviews as requiredOther duties as requiredJob Requirements:Degree or Diploma in a related fieldExcellent communication skills – verbal and writtenStrong organizational and analytical skillsProven ability to deal proactively and professionally with internal and external customersAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills requiredHigh level of motivation and energyAbility to work in a team environmentWorking towards completion of CPA designation an assetContinuous improvement mindsetEffectively manage priorities and meet deadlinesWe are committed to employment equity and welcomes applications from women, visible minorities, aboriginal people and persons with disabilities.To apply please submit your resume via this ad.
