● Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts
payable/receivable, payroll processing, and reconciliations.
● Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
● Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures as needed.
● Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic decision- making.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and optimize financial efficiency.Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
● 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
● Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
● Thorough understanding of Canadian accounting principles and regulations.
● CPA designation or working towards certification is preferred.Summary
