Job description: AccountantOur client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support financial operations across assigned companies. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, and internal controls. The Accountant will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and year-end reviews, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards. The ideal candidate will bring a degree or diploma in accounting, at least one year of experience, and proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Post journal entries for accounts payable, receivable, and general transactions
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reconcile balance sheets and bank accounts
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records
• Maintain and develop internal control procedures, including inventory control
• Complete reports and analysis for internal stakeholders
• Assist with year-end reviews, forecasting, and budget preparation
• Audit supply chain inventory and support related accounting activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Your strengths include:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
• Experience with accounting software
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume environments
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to team success
• Satisfactory criminal record check
