Accounts payable/receivable and month end related duties
Prepare and maintain cash management activities, bank reconciliations, general journals, bank adjustments, cash receipts, collections, and cash disbursements ensuring the adequacy of bank balances
Assist in the preparation of budgeting, and financial reports and provide analysis of financial results, costing analysis, statistical analysis, inventory levels, labour, gross margins and asset management
Review and assist in the preparation of GST/HST filings and prepare GST/HST request for information inquiries
Maintain general ledger; review and reconciliation of all general ledger accounts
Maintain an accurate and complete trail of supporting documentation for all financial and bookkeeping activities
Continuous improvement of internal reporting and procedures
Attend meetings and complete projects, as required
Other accounting functions as required
Understand and follow the policies and procedures of the health and safety management systemQualifications / Skills:
Diploma or Degree in Accounting or related discipline or minimum of 5 years’ experience in related role
Proficient in MS Office
Exposure to Visual Manufacturing and/or ERP Systems is an asset
Knowledge of ISO systemsInterested?
