Job description: Job Description:We are providing an opportunity for an Accountant II – CAD, to join our team in the Healthcare/NHS industry. This position is based in Markham, Ontario, Canada, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As an Accountant II – CAD, you will be chiefly responsible for examining and analyzing customer accounts in the healthcare industry. Your role will include interaction with customers for collection, reconciliation of accounts, and maintaining confidentiality of financial information.Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
  • Maintain precise customer credit records and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify inconsistencies and document findings accurately
  • Ensure all monitoring procedures and activities are carried out in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • Enter monthly data of all reportable transactions into the Expense Manager tool from various sources
  • Analyze and compile affiliate information to monitor company transactions and make appropriate comparisons between recorded amounts and included support
  • Secure financial information by maintaining confidentiality
  • Leverage your strong analytical skills to review, analyze, and interpret accounting records
  • Use your familiarity with spreadsheets, accounting software, and GAAP to perform your role effectively
  • Leverage your strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers for collection and reconciliation of accounts.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Data Entry and Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with procedures and policy in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Experience with reconciliations and collection processes
  • Able to perform ad hoc financial tasks
  • Proficient in using spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of credit processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools
  • Ability to create and edit video content
  • Experience in managing customer accounts
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of GAAP Accounting
  • Familiarity with Standard Operation Procedures
  • Ability to work onsite
  • Experience with managing expense accounts
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in accounting software systems
  • Familiarity with CAD Software

Expected salary: $30 – 33 per hour
