Job description: Job Description:Our Calgary-based client is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant II for a contract role. This position supports financial reporting, analysis, and compliance with US GAAP and IFRS, while also assisting with cash and intercompany processes.Key Responsibilities:

• Handle journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close tasks
• Collaborate with the team by providing accurate data for reporting, planning, and analysis
• Support cash and intercompany teams, including reviewing and approving journal entries
• Collaborate with Technical Accounting on reporting issues
• Assist with financial analysis and reporting tools
• Contribute to special projects and ad hoc tasks

Requirements:Qualifications:

• 3+ years of financial accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CMA preferred
• Public accounting or internal audit experience is an asset
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
• Skilled in consolidations and financial analysis
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and a strong communicator
• Available to start immediately
