Compensation & Hours:
- The salary is expected to be $65K
- Monday â Friday, 8 a.m. â 5 p.m.
Position Summary:
- Help them excel in their accounting practices (pun intended!)
- Accounts Payable â Posting cheques and paying month end, contractors, WCB, credit cards
- Accounts Receivable â Invoices, statements
- Payroll Processing â Remittances, T3 reporting, job costing, benefits administration, ROEâs
- Reconciling accounts
- Filing reports
- Participating in human resources and safety duties
Required Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in Accounting or Finance
- Microsoft Excel enthusiast
- Proficiency in Sage software; our client is currently transitioning from Sage 50 to 300
Bonus:
- Familiarity with the construction or manufacturing industry
- Previous experience in private accounting
- Commissioner for Oaths
