Job description: We’re looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our client’s dynamic team! This position entails processing, recording, and analyzing financial information to support the growth of this company and each of their locations.What’s in it for You?

Compensation & Hours:

• The salary is expected to be $65K
• Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Position Summary:

• Help them excel in their accounting practices (pun intended!)
• Accounts Payable – Posting cheques and paying month end, contractors, WCB, credit cards
• Accounts Receivable – Invoices, statements
• Payroll Processing – Remittances, T3 reporting, job costing, benefits administration, ROE’s
• Reconciling accounts
• Filing reports
• Participating in human resources and safety duties

Required Qualifications:

• Post secondary education in Accounting or Finance
• Microsoft Excel enthusiast
• Proficiency in Sage software; our client is currently transitioning from Sage 50 to 300

Bonus:

• Familiarity with the construction or manufacturing industry
• Previous experience in private accounting
• Commissioner for Oaths
