Job description: Job Description:We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Nisku, Alberta. In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. This position offers an opportunity to support both accounts payable and receivable functions while also assisting with general office duties.Responsibilities:

• Process high volumes of accounts payable data entry, including invoice processing and weekly cheque runs.
• Manage corporate purchasing cards, handling transactions for 100-200 vendors per week.
• Perform accounts receivable tasks such as collection calls and maintaining accurate filing systems.
• Reconcile balance sheets and review statements to ensure financial accuracy.
• Provide front desk support, including greeting customers and covering reception duties as needed.
• Assist with property tax collection and related administrative tasks.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries at the front counter.
• Maintain organized financial records and contribute to overall office efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and analysis.
• Ability to reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer-facing responsibilities.

Expected salary: $19.79 – 22.91 per hour
