Job description: Job Description:Robert Half has been engaged by a prestigious client to locate a proactive, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk. As the Accounting Clerk your day to day responsibilities of this role may include, but not be limited to:Responsibilities:

  • Support accounts payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing
  • Support Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders or vouchers
  • Performing data entry
  • General accounting and administration support: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
  • Prepare statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources
  • Post financial information to journals, registers, and ledgers, manually or by electronic equipment
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Accounting Clerk
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong data entry, numerical, and analytical skills
  • High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility
  • Ability to multitask and maintain an organized work environment
