Job description: Job Description:Our Calgary-based client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a contract role. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations with a focus on deposits, accounts payable, data entry, and reconciliation tasks.Key Responsibilities:

• Enter deposits from cheques and online systems
• Reconcile deposit data and match to bank transactions
• Export data from Excel and import into accounting systems
• Enter manual cheques and export to accounting
• Process and code invoices (mail and email)
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Organize and digitize file records
• Support accounting needs for various programs
• Assist with special projects, including gathering and managing contracts

Requirements:Qualifications:

• Experience working in a computerized environment (Excel, CRM, accounting software)
• Basic bookkeeping knowledge (Accounting 101 level: understanding of debits/credits)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Available to start immediately
