• Compensation: 100K to 125K + Bonus
• Permanent Opportunity + 3 to 4 weeks vacation + RRSP (50/50 Employee Contribution)
• Please note, this role will be fully on-site at the Client’s Calgary office.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients
• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of client intake, file assignment and file review
• Execute client service plans on complex engagements and work closely with the Partners in exceeding client’s expectations while identifying and mitigating business risks associated with projects
• Facilitate client meetings
• Assign and monitor workflow within the department
• Provide mentorship to junior staff
• Cultivate new business for the company.

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting.
• Must be CPA Designated.
• Must have over 5 years of Accounting Experience (Senior Accountant wanting to progress into a manager role or Managerial experience).
• Main focus will be on assurance and accounting, personal and corporate tax, and US tax component but must have Canadian experience.
• Must have over 2 years of experience as a senior in Public Practice.
• Experience with Taxcycle is an Asset.
