Job description: West Golden Horseshoe area manufacturing client needs a strong senior accountant / accounting manager for a 15 month contract opportunity. This role requires strong accounting knowledge to be successful. You must be comfortable working onsite five days a week and be able to work independently. In this stand alone role, you are the “go to” accounting and finance professional in the office.– CPA Designation or equivalent– 5 years experience in an accounting manager role.– Hands on experience with accounts payable & receivable, journal entries, banking, cashflow, and All Government remittances.– Financial statement preparation and analysis experience is a must.– Experience rolling up financial statements to a public UK parent would be a nice asset.– Ability to work in a multi-currency environment is a nice to have– Proven ability to liaison with the auditors– Ability to work with Senior Management for the budgeting cycle.– You will be responsible for biweekly hourly & salary payroll.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
