• Process and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Respond to inquiries from internal teams, management, and external stakeholders
• Support auditors with documentation and schedules as required

Education:

• Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field (diploma or degree) is considered an asset.
• Professional certifications or coursework (e.g., CPA prep, bookkeeping certification) are an asset.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Proficiency with a variety of accounting software platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, NetSuite) is a strong asset.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Skills:

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Base Salary:

• $22-$30+ per hour, depending on the role, required experience, and scope of responsibilities.
• Pay rates may vary by assignment and are based on skills, qualifications, and task complexity.

Work Hours:

• Work hours will vary per assignment.
• Part-time and full-time hours available.

Remote Work:

• These positions are not remote and required to be on-site.
