Please note we are only considering candidates who include this information.Job Description:Accounting Technician:Resorts of the Canadian Rockies is seeking an energetic individual with a passion for outdoor recreation to join our Accounting team as an Accounting Technician.Your responsibilities:· Strata corporation & condo associations – full cycle accounting· Property and rental management – internal and external reporting· Daily bank reporting, bank reconciliations and payment balancing· Bank deposits and electronic payment receipting· Petty cash verification and reconciliation· Foreign currency transactions and reporting· Cost of sales and inventory accounting· Inter-company AR· Month-end financial reporting and assisting in financial statement preparation· General ledger reconciliations· Preparation of journal entries· Providing statistical information and monthly reports· Providing responses to and reconciling credit card chargebacks· Participate in producing inter-company AR· Cross training with other team members for holiday and sickness coverage· Miscellaneous job related duties as assignedYou:· Are enthusiastic and passionate for skiing and outdoor adventure· Possess excellent time-management, organization and multi-tasking skills· Maintain the ability to work well under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines· Are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel· Demonstrate a pleasant and professional demeanorRequired Experience:· Relevant degree or diploma· Self-starter with ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment· Knowledge of ACCPAC will be an asset· Previous bookkeeping experience will be an assetWe offer:· A staff season pass for our resorts· Discounts on food, retail goods and hotels· Staff events – meet great people who share a passion for the mountain lifestyle!This position is not remote and candidate will be required to be on-site.Please tell us about your most memorable mountain experience.
