Job description: My name is Melissa, I am a finance, accounting and payroll recruitment consultant. I hold permanent and temporary positions in the Greater Montreal area.My client, a group specializing in construction in Ville St Laurent, is looking for an accounting technician whose tasks will be:– Ensure that all invoices from subcontractors and suppliers for the month have been validated
– Prepare payable invoices.
– Transmit payables situations to project managers for approval.
– Obtain approval of payables and produce checks intended for sub-contractors
treaters.
– Reconcile subcontractor account statements
– Extract the data necessary for the preparation of RFPs.
– Prepare the DDPs using Excel developed for this purpose.
– Submit the RFPs to project managers for approval.
– Prepare supporting documents (copies of invoices) to be attached to the DDPs.
– Receive RFPs approved by project managers and make necessary modifications when required.
