In this role, the candidate will provide support to the finance department, ensuring smooth financial operations related to client billing and vendor payments.Responsibilities:

• Input new vendor and contractor cheque details into the banking system
• Oversee the Accounts Payable inbox, ensuring timely electronic filing and organization of incoming invoices.
• Process vendor and contractor invoices, securing necessary approvals
• Confirm that contractor billing aligns with assigned project roles and cost rate tables.
• Ensure all timesheets are approved, posted, and closed by month-end.
• Manage Business Development expense submissions, obtaining approvals and processing payments.
• Compile EFT payment spreadsheets and initiate payments via the online banking platform.
• Distribute remittance notifications to vendors and contractors.
• Assist in distributing client invoices via email and various online platforms
• Support the Project Accountant in liaising with Project Managers to resolve outstanding billing issues
• Help monitor the AR schedule, following up on overdue invoices through emails, calls, and other collection efforts
• Experience with VantagePoint and QuickBooks is an asset
