Job description: Wright Canada Holdings, Ltd.The primary focus of the Accounts Receivable Administrator is to process, track, and record invoices and payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This position will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.Responsibilities will also include administrative services and ensuring compliance, accuracy and efficiency of operations, data entry, creation of invoices with a general understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, and external audits.This is a hybrid remote position, with 50% required in-office. However, for the first two months of employment, this job will be fully remote while the office space undergoes renovations. In January, the position is expected to return to a hybrid work schedule.Our office is located in the Southcentre Office Tower in Calgary, Alberta directly across from Anderson LRT station.We offer$26.50 an hourFull benefits packageThree (3) weeks paid vacationEmployee ownership planComprehensive training and career development opportunitiesKEY RESPONSIBLITIESEnsures accurate invoicing to customers by:Reviewing production information submitted by the operations department, ensuring accuracy and completenessReconciling progress billing to contract requirementsValidating chargeable amounts for various customers match the agreed upon rates in signed purchase orders or long-term contracts.Validating amounts invoiced against revenue projections by operational leadership and communicating about changes or discrepancies.Creation of invoices and supporting documents to a variety of customer specifications (reconciling to PO’s, submitting to customers)Optimizes company cash flow by:Ensuring timely deposit of cheques, posting payments against submitted invoices.Following up with customers about overdue invoices, requesting prompt paymentEnsuring receivable listing is valid and up-to-date at all times.Maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholder by:Demonstrating professionalism at the highest level when communicating with all stakeholdersResponding to inquiries from customers about invoices. Taking initiative to investigate concerns and problem solve, escalating to operational leadership if required.Providing data and reports to management about weekly and monthly revenue to assist with decision making.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSCommitment to perform responsibilities with the highest professional and ethical standards3+ years of experience within Accounts Receivable requiredCertificate in accounting or bookkeeping would be an assetWorkday experience considered an assetSolid foundational understanding of accounting principlesProficient data entry skills along with a knack for numbersAbility to calculate, post and manage accounting figures in a timely mannerCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsGood organizational and time-management skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skills; able to work both independently and as a teamAbility to pick up responsibilities quickly and adapt to changeAble to manage stress and excel under pressureABOUT USAn employee-owned company formed in 2017, Wright Canada Holdings is a prominent leader in several environmental services industries, representing our family of companies across Canada and is comprised of Spectrum Resource Group, Wright Tree Service of Canada, ArborCare® and CNUC of Canada.
