Job description: Summary:We are seeking an energetic individual with a passion for outdoor recreation to join our Accounting team. Tell us about your most memorable mountain experience in your cover letter!Job Description:Your responsibilities:· Preparation of invoices, receipting payments· Inter-company AR, clearing account ,sub-ledger reconciliations· Designated accounts receivables tracking· Preparation of AR related journal entries· Follow up with customers including statement preparation and customer call outs· Chargeback follow up and reconciling· Update and maintain account information and utility customer databases· Cross training with Accounts Payable and General Ledger, providing assistance as needed· Perform cashout audits and record daily sales reports, online sales· Review, process and record season pass refunds· Process, reconcile and enter company credit card charges· Creating, preparing and analyzing statistical reports· Ongoing communication with resort accounting teams· Completing bank deposits· Miscellaneous filing and job-related duties as assignedYou:· Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and are comfortable dealing with customers· Are enthusiastic and passionate for skiing and outdoor adventure· Possess excellent time-management, organization and multi-tasking skills· Maintain the ability to work well under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines· Are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel· Demonstrate a pleasant and professional demeanorRequired Experience:· High school diploma with specialized courses in accounting or possess an accounting certificate· 1-2 years experience in accounts receivable will be an asset· Self-starter with ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment· Knowledge of ACCPAC will be an asset· Previous bookkeeping experience will be an assetWe offer:· A staff season pass for our resorts· Discounts on food, retail goods and hotels · Staff events – meet great people who share a passion for the mountain lifestyle!This position is not remote and required to be on-site.Interested?
