Job description: Accounts Receivable Clerk (Hybrid)Our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their finance team in Edmonton. This role is essential for managing client billing and ensuring accurate invoicing for various construction projects and equipment rentals. The successful candidate will have a high attention to detail and work well in team environments.Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Invoice for construction projects, including progress billing and compliance with contract terms
• Manage invoices for equipment rentals and sales
• Ensure all files have the necessary backup documentation and purchase orders (POs) before posting
• Handle a portfolio of accounts across multiple branches in Canada
• Interact with branch managers and sales teams to gather necessary information and approvals
• Perform monthly accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Collaborate with team members and various stakeholders to ensure smooth billing operations
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes

Your strengths include:

• 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable and progress/project billing is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables; experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a strong asset
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in billing and documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with branch managers and sales teams
• Collaborative team player with excellent organizational and time-management skills
