We have people working all over the world, including Canada, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, the United States and more!In this crucial role, you will be responsible for monitoring client accounts, identifying and collecting outstanding payments, and resolving any billing discrepancies. You will work diligently to maintain the company’s incoming cash flow and ensure timely payments from our valued clients.What you’ll do:

  • Generate and transmit invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Assist in monitoring the Accounts Receivable inbox, handling the queue of payments, inquiries and follow-ups that arrive on a regular basis
  • Professionally contact clients to discuss new client onboarding and address invoice issues
  • Post payment receipts to the appropriate subledger account and verify details such as funds received and total account balances
  • Use your previous experience to suggest and implement improvements to accounts receivable and revenue processes
  • Act as a center of excellence for regular updates to billing/accounts receivable data and metrics
  • Conduct client account research and analysis on behalf of internal teams such as Client Success, Revenue Operations, Financial Reporting and Tax
  • Collaborate with others in Finance to monitor bank accounts daily and apply cash
  • Assist with transformational projects impacting Accounts Receivable

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable
  • Diploma or Degree in the areas of finance, business or accounting is considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills; this role will be communicating directly with the company’s clients
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets or Excel)
  • Experience with Zendesk, Salesforce, ZoneBilling and Netsuite is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A positive and professional demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional client service
