Job description: Job Description:Our Edmonton-based client is looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist for a contract role. This position requires experience in both AR and AP functions, and the ability to pick up new processes quickly in a fast-paced, centralized environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Apply cash receipts to customer invoices
- Post bank deposits and manage AR accounts
- Perform journal entries, bad debt postings, and month-end reporting
- Communicate with customers to confirm information
- Track weekly cash applications and assist with weekly payment proposals
- Provide AP coverage as needed, including supporting the AP Lead
Requirements:Must-Have Qualifications:
- 2+ years of AR/AP experience
- Strong SAP knowledge
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Quick learner with the ability to work independently
- Diploma or certification in Administration or Accounting preferred
- Available to start immediately
