Prepare and make daily deposits of payments received and apply them to tenants’ accounts receivable
Enter electronic payments daily
Apply payments to tenant accounts receivable
Prepare billing register for furnished suite rentals and collect rents
Transmit statements of account to tenants
Send non-payment notices, make calls and follow up on collection of accounts receivable
Prepare documents for problem files and follow up with Assistant Manager
Process cheque returns and refunds to tenants
Record accounts receivable comments in the collection report
Maintain up-to-date list of payment agreements
Scan and file documents in customer/tenant, physical and network files
Follow-up with property accountant regarding monthly rental billing
Perform all other related tasksQualifications
Diploma of professional studies or college diploma in accounting or related field.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a role involving accounting tasks.
Fluency in French and advanced level in English (spoken and written).
Excellent command of the Office suite, particularly Word and Excel.
Impeccable customer service and ability to work as part of a team.
Professionalism, thoroughness, resourcefulness and autonomy.
Experience in real estate (an asset).
Knowledge of the Yardi Voyager system (an asset).Summary
