Job description: The Administrative Assistant role is a great fit for someone who is self-motivated, highly-organized with the ability to handle frequent interruptions and enjoys providing excellent customer service.A strong communicator, a thirst to learn and dive into new tasks, coupled with proficiency in using computers and the ability to learn new software programs/platforms will be required for success in this role.Previous experience with providing computer/IT support will be a great asset!If this sounds like you then apply for the Administrative Assistant opportunity today!Job SummaryThis role will perform a variety of administrative, logistical, and assistant-type tasks that support the efficient day-to-day operations of the SCSA offices, including assisting with daily office needs, support to front desk activities and guidance to staff, assisting the Administrative Services Manager, and providing support to other business units as required. This role will play a key role in providing effective customer service to the membership and other identified customers.Key Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service in everything you do.
- Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the administrative services staff on everyday transactions/tasks.
- Assist with front desk functions, office support services, and course delivery administration.
- Assist with IT management including but not limited to:
- IT support with various technological issues with computers, printers, networks, and devices./
- Working with the external IT provider to solve issues, and set up technology.
- Technology asset tracking.
- Assist in facility management:
- Arrange regular facility maintenance and handle issues when they arise.
- Storage area organization and tracking of office furniture.
- Inventory management of retail materials and SCSA office supplies.
- Input information into key databases and maintain accuracy.
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports as requested.
- Document, maintain, and improve administrative procedures as assigned.
- Provide administrative support to other business units as assigned
- Assist the Administrative Assistant – Accounting as required.
You will have knowledge in the following areas:
- Customer Service
- Clerical Processing
- Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom video platform)
- Computer/IT support
You will bring the following skills to the table:
- Effective customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, within a team environment, and with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge and ability to assist with computer/IT issues.
Plus, if you have any of the below it is a bonus!Effective coaching ability, experience working in a multi-functional office and basic knowledge of SCSA programs and services.Working Conditions
- Sedentary office work, performance of repetitive motions and use of general office equipment.

Monday to Thursday 7:45am – 4:30pm
Friday 7:45am – 415pm with every other Friday off
