Job description: Job Description:Our client in Edmonton is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team on a contract basis. The Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their office. This individual will provide administrative support to various departments, handle a wide range of tasks, and contribute to the overall productivity of the team.Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Answer and direct phone calls, manage correspondence, and handle inquiries promptly.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
• Maintain and update office supplies, equipment, and inventory.
• Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations.
• Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices and expense reports.
• Support the HR department with onboarding and record-keeping.
• Manage and organize files, both physical and electronic, ensuring confidentiality.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in related field an asset.
• 1+ years of experience as an administrative assistant or in a related role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Available to start immediately.
