Job description: Following significant growth and expansion, our client located in Montreal is looking for an Administrative Project Coordinator (Construction) to support the project manager. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Project Director, professionals, owners, etc., and be part of a dynamic team for a multi-phase mixed-use project. This opportunity offers an enriching experience in a stimulating environment.Advantages
Salary: 75k-85k
Hours: 40 hours per week (flexible hours)
Type of work: 100 % in office
4 weeks of vacation

Brand new officeResponsibilities
Responsibilities:Monitoring and control of construction budget documents.
Preparation, monitoring and control of deadlines.
Preparation of quantity statements.
Participation in coordination meetings with subcontractors at the start of work.
Collaboration on the preliminary design of buildings with consultants.
Detailed design management to prepare plans that comply with specifications, budgets, and regulations.
Provision of information required to obtain permits.
Solving construction problems in collaboration with consultants.
Holding meetings and writing reports.
Review of shop drawings and creative support for problem solving.
Coordination and planning of subcontractors on site.
Transfer of information to the site to ensure a good understanding of the design intentions.
Monitoring of modifications with the site and subcontractors.
Preparation of monthly reports.
Electronic filing of current project documents.
Monitoring and control of drawings, shop drawings, plans, project notes, deficiencies, etc.
Realization of deficiencies and support for after-sales service.
Other related tasks related to the project management department.Qualifications

Ability to quickly assimilate and learn new areas/problems.
