Job description: AP / AR SupervisorOur client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AP / AR Supervisor to join their team. This role is responsible for overseeing financial transactions, managing a team, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments and collections. The AP / AR Supervisor will play a key role in month-end, cash flow reporting, and system optimization, while maintaining compliance and supporting vendor and customer relations. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in Excel and accounting systems.Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Supervise AP/AR staff, delegate tasks, and provide training and performance oversight
• Develop and implement efficient workflows for invoice processing, payments, and collections
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts
• Generate and analyze AP/AR reports, including aging and cash flow summaries
• Manage vendor and customer relationships, resolving inquiries and discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory standards
• Monitor credit card balances and support expense report management
• Lead month-end close activities, including accruals and deadline coordination
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
• Identify and resolve system inefficiencies and support IT planning for accounting workflows

Your strengths include:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with accounting software
• Knowledge of full-cycle AP/AR and banking transactions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
