Job description: Aplin has partnered with an Edmonton-based company seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Billing Clerk to join their team on a 3-month contract with the possibility of an extension.This role is primarily focused on accounts payable, with some accounts receivable billing entry and light reception duties as needed. If you are a quick learner with strong Excel skills, we want to hear from you.Roles and Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices, perform three-way matching and ensure accurate data entry.
• Assist with accounts receivable billing entry and occasional emailing of statements.
• Provide reception support by answering 40-50 calls per day and backing up the front desk when needed.
• Assist with Excel-based reporting and accounts payable-related tracking. No check runs are required, only list preparation in Excel.
• Work with QuickBooks Desktop and an integrated inventory system (Fishbowl experience is a plus).

Qualifications:

• At least two years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, including three-way matching and data entry.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (Fishbowl experience is an asset).
• Strong Excel skills for basic reporting and data organization.
• Comfortable handling high call volumes (40-50 calls per day).
• Ability to work independently and adapt to new tasks quickly.
• Must be able to work in the office every day.
