If so, ATB might be right for you.Please see below to learn more about this great summer opportunity.As ATB’s next Everyday Financial Services (EFS) Business Analyst, you will conduct accurate business and data analysis to generate insights on EFS performance. You will also be responsible for collecting data, providing reporting, analyzing trends, developing strategies, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders.Accountabilities

  • Possesses the ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize data to draw conclusions that support key business decisions.
  • Integrates complex data from multiple sources to create spreadsheets, charts, presentations, visual aids, and functional dashboards.
  • Serves and advises projects, initiatives, and/or the business by turning requirements into feasible solutions.
  • Understands key businesses processes / systems and how they interlink, and is able to leverage that knowledge to support the vision and goal creation of improvement related initiatives/projects.
  • May support projects in maintaining project schedule, budget, work plan, KPIs, documentation and other metrics, including providing insights into project delivery plans and facilitating communication between project stakeholders.
  • May engage in support of product/project/initiative launch, and transition period after deployment.

Skills, experience & requirements

  • Demonstrated interest in the financial services industry through coursework, projects, or relevant experience.
  • Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate from a degree program with a specialization in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), and data visualization tools such as Looker Studio or Tableau.
  • Foundational understanding of data analysis techniques and database management principles.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work and take ownership of tasks.
  • Come with an analytical mind. Be confident to ask questions, seeking information, dissect problems, and suggest innovative solutions.
  • Eager to roll up your sleeves and take on new challenges.
