Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Wage: Based on experience (weekly pay every Friday, plus 4% vacation pay)Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of bookkeeping experience, specifically in a manufacturing environment, and will be proficient in QuickBooks. This role will involve managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing support to the finance department.Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with cost tracking.
- Prepare payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Collaborate with management to streamline accounting processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and ensure security of financial data.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
