Job description: Our Calgary client is in the insurance industry, and they are looking for a dependable and self-motivated Bookkeeper to assist in managing the day-to-day operations in their growing team. - Full cycle bookkeeping
- Preparation of financial statements
- Assist with quarterly and year end close
- Invoicing and billing
- File monthly/quarterly GST returns and other government submissions (PST, WCB, etc.)
- Additional duties as required
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience working in full cycle bookkeeping
- Designation or Diploma in Bookkeeping would be well regarded
- Advanced Excel and QuickBooks Online skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Must be flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- A self-starter, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
