Job description: Our Calgary client is in the insurance industry, and they are looking for a dependable and self-motivated Bookkeeper to assist in managing the day-to-day operations in their growing team. If you love numbers, organizing and want to share your financial acumen with the company – read on!Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle bookkeeping
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Assist with quarterly and year end close
  • Invoicing and billing
  • File monthly/quarterly GST returns and other government submissions (PST, WCB, etc.)
  • Additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience working in full cycle bookkeeping
  • Designation or Diploma in Bookkeeping would be well regarded
  • Advanced Excel and QuickBooks Online skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Must be flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A self-starter, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
