The organization also delivers some region-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for health organizations.With over 12,000 interdisciplinary employees delivering clinical, preventive, and administrative shared services in partnership with over 250 local, regional, and provincial health service delivery organizations in urban, rural, and remote locations across the area, our client provides patients with the best health care and health outcomes possible. This is achieved by partnering with health organizations, educational institutions, and clinical experts to plan and deliver evidence-based, innovative, and sustainable models of care that are accessible, consistent, and serve the needs of all patients as close to home as possible.The Provincial Health System Transformation project is the largest change to the provincial healthcare system in a generation. This initiative aims to improve patient care and support strategic healthcare system alignment by leading the coordinated planning and integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services. Additionally, the project focuses on delivering centralized business functions to support the delivery of care across provincial health organizations. The transformation requires proven, province-wide leadership with broad jurisdictional experience across multiple areas of clinical delivery and business functions. This is to build an integrated leadership team and effective pan-system relationships that drive strategic and sustainable outcomes, enable the work of partner service delivery organizations, and provide centralized business functions and provincial health services. Our client operates a jurisdictional tertiary hospital and provides a broad range of health delivery services spanning all areas of care, including primary, acute, and continuous across urban, rural, and remote areas.Education and Certifications: * Masters Degree in Health Administration: Proof of the degree is required with the application.

  • Valid Lean Six Sigma Certificate: Proof of the certification is required with the application.

Skills and Experience:Business Analysis:

  • Requirement: 10 years of experience performing business analysis, including developing models for operational service delivery and synthesizing findings to present to key stakeholder groups for decision making.
  • Details: Provide at least 3 examples, including the duration of the projects, totaling at least 10 years. Examples should include consolidating stakeholder input with data analysis to present findings to leadership teams, developing future state models, performing gap analyses, and developing transition plans for future state models.

Leadership of Business Analysts:

  • Requirement: 5 years of experience directly leading business analysts or business consultants in large-scale business transformation programs composed of multiple concurrent projects.
  • Details: Provide at least 3 examples, including the duration of the projects, totaling at least 5 years. Examples should include team management roles leading resource planning, quality reviews, and coaching, as well as managing analysis work to design target state operating models, organizational design, process design, business case development, financial modeling, value stream mapping, and performing gap analysis.

Complex Business Architecture and Modelling:

  • Requirement: 5 years of direct, hands-on experience with complex business architecture and modelling, including working directly with executive leadership teams and facilitating stakeholder workshops.
  • Details: Provide at least 2 examples, including the duration of the projects, totaling at least 5 years. Examples should include consolidating and synthesizing outputs to develop future state models, performance gap analyses, and developing transition plans to move to the future state.

Facilitating Organizational Capability Assessments:

  • Requirement: 5 years of experience facilitating assessments and workshops for organizational capability redesign activities, developing recommendations, conducting reviews with stakeholders, and obtaining approval from executives and senior leadership.
  • Details: Provide at least 2 examples, including the duration of the projects, totaling at least 5 years.

Implementing Clinical Change:

  • Requirement: 5 years of experience implementing clinical change in a healthcare environment, working directly with frontline patient care staff such as physicians or nurses.
  • Details: Provide at least 2 examples, including the duration of the projects, totaling at least 5 years.

Healthcare Change Implementation:

  • Requirement: 5 years of experience implementing change in a healthcare environment, including analysis/assessments of healthcare service delivery activities and assisting the business through change and transformation.

Business Case Development:

  • Requirement: 5 years of experience defining business cases for new initiatives and developing indicators for evaluating solution options to guide decision-making.
