Working for Pembina means working safely.Overview:Pembina’s Information Service Unit (ISU) is recruiting for a highly skilled and motivated Supervisor. Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Business Applications, the Supervisor will be responsible for SAP Finance & Supply Chain, including SAP S/4Hana, Ariba, Concur, PowerPlan and other related business systems.The Supervisor will have a strong blend of business acumen as well as SAP application experience in order to collaborate with business leaders to manage the technology roadmap and day to day operations.Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of application support professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure effective application management and user satisfaction;
- Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with business units to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions that streamline operations and enhance efficiency;
- Application Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of SAP Finance and Supply Chain applications, ensuring system availability, performance, and reliability;
- System Implementation: Lead the implementation of new features and enhancements;
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure effective support and maintenance of business applications;
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure that all applications comply with relevant policies, regulations, and standards, including data security and privacy requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Commerce or a related field;
- Prior experience in a supervisory capacity, including ability to manage resources/consultants is required;
- Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management to assess business requirements, and to plan, manage and deliver stable, reliable and cost-effective technology solutions;
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentorship and development;
- Exceptional communication, collaboration and team-building skills;
- In depth understanding of business systems, life-cycle and associated implementation methodologies, tools and techniques;
- Experience with ERP, Service Management, Project Management, Construction Execution, and other Asset Accounting Software Tools is preferred;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions;
- 5+ years of experience managing business applications, preferably in SAP Finance and Supply Chain environments;
- 15+ years in proven experience with SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, Concur, and PowerPlan, with a solid understanding of finance, supply chain processes or related experience.
