Job description: Employee TypeFull TimeVacancy TypePermanentTown/RegionHalifax, NS, Shearwater, NSAbout the roleThe Canadian Maritime Helicopter Program (CMHP) Training Engineer is a tactical and operational role responsible for leading and overseeing the technical content of the training program. The CMHP training program includes on-going upgrade and sustainment of a suite of aircraft and mission-based training devices, including full motion flight simulators, mission simulators and maintenance trainers. The CMHP Training Engineer will report functionally to the Engineering and Technology (E&T) Technical Training Manager and technically to the CMHP Training Program Manager. The primary location of work will be at the customer site in Shearwater, Nova Scotia. The secondary location of work will be at the Lockheed Martin Canada site in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and dynamic manager who will invest their energy and focus on shaping relationships across a diverse Customer, partner, and subcontractor stakeholder group to ensure in-scope training requirements are realized. To enable success, the candidate will possess a deep understanding of engineering processes and proven ability to deliver quality work on-time and at-cost.
